This Saturday saw another RC competition, held in Trutnov. This city is situated on the north of Czech Republic. Competitions there are something special. On the starting grid you can find hobby drivers and pro-drivers as well.
Organizers prepared very nice track with great combination of technical passages and straights. Not too fast, not so slow and entertaining enough. The grip was also good, thanks to Friday practice. Completely 60 cars were divided into six classes. Hobby (included a special junior group), GT, Formula, Stock and Open.
In Hobby class there was a fight between Milan Maxymov and Milan Ptáček (XRAY ). At the end the first-one was more successful. Third was Vojta Komárek. Junior Hobby class won Daniel Pelikán jun (XRAY T3´12).
GT class was not taken as normal race, because of only two drivers on the grid. I won this class with a big lead ahead of second Jirka Svoboda. I was so satisfied with my XRAY X10 Link. Beside of the basic setup I changed only oil in shock (1000cst) and that was enough to get fast car with lot of steering and stability also.

Formula one, as you know, is not only about fast cars. Important is also design of bodyshells. I really like watching this category. That day Ivo GombĂk was the fastest guy. Behind him ended Bedřich Semián and Zdenda Beneš.
More than twenty cars we were going to see on the start of Stock class. In every heat there was a strong fight between Jirka TlustĂ˝ (XRAY) and Aleš Pelikán. After the finals Aleš was more successful. Jan HavlĂček completed the TOP3.

Main class of the race was the Open class. At the end I was able to win from âśtone to toneâś. My XRAY T4 worked very well all the time and made me drive without mistakes. Second place took Petr Grof and third was Tomáš Svoboda.
